Jim Cress killed in motorcycle accident

Owners of Nordic Tugs, as well as boaters who have been around a while in the Pacific NW will recognize the name Jim Cress. Jim was on the Board of Directors of Nordic Tug, and owner of SkipperCress Yacht Sales in Anacortes. In his non-boating life he was an active supporter of a number of philanthropic causes in Skagit County. Jim's Harley Davidson collided with a Jeep over the weekend, and it is said that he died "instantly". Jim was 62, and his contributions, commercial and otherwise, to Pacific NW boating will be missed.
