Queen City Yacht Club’s burgee has proudly flown for over the Northwest for over 100 years.
Our club’s customs and traditions are based on “supporting affordable boating” and club members take both pride and responsibility in accomplishing the basic and other routine tasks necessary in maintaining all of our beautiful club facilities. We are truly an all-volunteer Yacht Club.
Here are a few of the great benefits of “pitching-in” at Queen City:
The Mainstation boasts 238 mooring slip, pump out facilities, work slips, lockers, a shipwright’s wood shop and much, much more.
The Winslow Clubhouse at Bainbridge in Eagle Harbor was designed and built by voleenter club members. It not only our pride and joy, but also the envy of the other Northwest yacht clubs.
We have more outstations north on Orcas Island in Deer Harbor, Ganges on Salt Spring Island, and another on Thetis Island. We also have Outstation agreements at Dock Street in Tacoma and in BC at Mill Bay, Port Browning and Port Sidney.
Of all the traditional Queen City events you will have the opportunity to participate in, the ones you really won’t want to miss are the “Big Three Family Weekends” at the Winslow Outstation. Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Labor Day.
The biggest event of the year is the Opening Week of Boating Season, where ceremony mixes with events, meals and fun.
We invite you take advantage of all the traditions that being a “hands-on and involved” member of Queen City Yacht Club has to offer.
