Major Re-roofing project on Dock One, all members on all docks please read.....

The Docks Committee is announcing a major re-roofing project for Dock One.

Slips 111-142 will need to be vacant during the last half of July (with the exception of slips 112, 114, 128, 130, and 132). The re-roofing process will involve the transport and application of materials that could substantially damage a boat, so there is no option to remain in the slip during this period of time.

All affected members must relocate their boats. Slips 115, 125, and 133 must vacate by 7-16; while all other affected members must vacate by 7-18. Assuming there are no weather delays, the project should be completed by August 1st.

If you are an affected member: Please notify Jonelle in the office (or respond to the email you will receive from Jeff Purvis or Chuck Gould) and let us know whether you will be out of your slip on a cruise during this period of time, or whether you will need temporary alternative moorage elsewhere at the club.

If you are not an affected member but will be out cruising and your slip could be made avaialable to a temporarily displaced member during the last half of July, please notify Jonelle in the office or email Jeff Purvis or Chuck Gould (emails in the roster).

We would like to accommodate all of the displaced boats in temporarily vacant slips if possible, but may have to locate boats in the "U" or at the reciprocal dock. The docks committee hopes to avoid the need to "tow" any boats out of their slips and hopes that all affected members will be available to move their vessels under power.
