Ganges Outstation

We stopped by Salt Spring Marina, the site of the new Ganges outstation, this week.  It was convenient to make reservations and we had plenty of help docking.  The docks and electrical power are in need of an upgrade like the Ganges Marina next door, however.  The Marina staff was not completely up to speed on the QCYC arrangements with the Marina and tried to charge us and one other member for moorage.  After a quick call to Eric Woods I informed the staff that we did not have to pay for moorage.  After checking with other staff they corrected their error and agreed our moorage was free.  There is a fee for garbage disposal.  A nice feature is that the marina has free wireless internet service.
