Fall refueling announced, Gas boats included

This is not an official club event, but Queen City has been invited by Dave Morrison to fuel up at Morrison's North Star Marina (north end of Lake Union) on November 16, 17, and 18. He will offer us a bulk purchase rate, but we won't have to guarantee a minimum number of gallons.

How it will work:

Any boat flying a QCYC burgee will be eligible for special pricing on either gasoline or diesel fuel. The dates are Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, November 16 -18. It will not be necessary to make a specific appointment. We will not need to post a volunteer on the dock to assist with the fueling, Morrison's staff will handle everything.

Pricing: The price of fuel fluctuates, so Dave is not able to guarantee what the price will be. However, everyone will know the final price before making a purchase. No need to write a blank check. If the fueling were being done today, October 29, the price of diesel would be $3.29 plus tax. (That's a discount of well over a dollar per gallon from the price showing on Morrison't diesel pump). The price of gasoline would be $3.69. If the wholesale price goes down between now and November 16, the final price will go down as well. If the wholesale price goes up, so will the final QCYC price.

The above prices are assuming that a member pays by check or by debit card, Credit card purchases will run an additional 10-cents per gallon.

So thar she blows. :-)
