Last Minute Opportunity & Possible "Leftovers" Cruise to Bell Harbor

As a result of posting the Fleet Captain "Landlubber Cruise" event flyer for the Westlake Center Tree Lighting Social, I was contacted today by a QCYC member who is also the Commodore of the West Seattle Yacht Club.

She e-mailed me, saying they had reserved 8 slips at Bell Harbor for Thanksgiving weekend, but were not expecting to use them. She didn't say why.

They offered them to Queen City members, but the "catch" is that individual reservations need to be made by tomorrow, Friday, 11/16. (Don't blame the messenger for the short notice!)

Bell Harbor Marina has been informed of this offer and will accept QCYC members making reservatons in lieu of WSYC members.

Collen and I discussed possibly doing a Saturday cruise (24th) to Bell Harbor and staying the night, heading home Sunday, IF we get a few members to join us.  Perhaps we could all share our Thanksgiving leftovers and PIE!!!!!

We will look forward to seeing you at Palomino Restaurant at 5th & Pike at 2:45pm Friday the 23rd for a social gathering before we all head over to watch them light the Macy's Star, ignite the fireworks and throw the switch on the Westlake Center Christmas tree!  Please post an RSVP or email me at barryrutten@comcast.net so we can hold enough seats for everyone!

The Bell Harbor Marina slip opportunity is NOT part of our Westlake event but we wanted to pass it along in case you are interested.  Let us know if you might like to connect at the marina over the weekend (24th/25th) and we'll see if that comes together.  We would need to let the marina know by tomorrow, Friday afternoon, although something tells me slips will still be available.
