Sharp objects left in the QCYC parking lot

Last Saturday  27Juy2013 my wife and I parked a couple of rows away from dock 2.  Unfortunately someone left a broken off utility knife blade in the parking lot which we ran over.  As luck would not have it we put the blade through the edge of the tread so the tire cannot be patched.  It cannot be plugged either since the puncture is from a blade.  The tire is $300 to replace - thanks to the individual who thought that leaving the broken blade in the parking lot was OK.  Why not sweep the area where the blade was lost followed by a magnet and if this doesn't find it, report the incident to the office?  Apparently it wasn't important enough to the person who left it there.
