Thanks to Jess and Linda Hill for a fun cruise to Kingston

The Hills did a fantastic job planning and organizing the weekend cruise to Kingston. Lots of fun had by all.

Jan and I scooted back about 6:30 Saturday night...(the forecast for 30-knot winds, with gusts to 40, on Sunday morning convinced us the discretion was the better part of valor. Got walloped anyway, Saturday night, as the weather service was reporting 22-24 knots sustained at West Point and we were taking seas broad abeam. Whoopie! No extra charge for the thrill ride. We elected to make the last portion of the southbound run behind the breakwater at Shilshole).

It was a darn shame that so few boats showed up for the event, however lots of members and the entire bridge put in appearances by car for at least part of the weekend.

If you get the opportunity, consider joining in on some of the remaining Fleet Captain's Cruises this year.

Thanks, Jess. Thanks, Linda.
