Official Club Moorage Rates and Rules, 1919

While doing some work for the Centennial Committee, I encountered a document listing the official Moorage Rules and Rates for Queen City Yacht Club.

****

Boats up to 18 feet LOA:  $1.00 per month.  [not $1 per foot- one dollar]

Boats 18 to 25 feet LOA:  $1.25 per month

Boats 25 to 35 feet LOA   $1.50 per month

Boats 35 to 45 feet LOA   $2.00 per month

Boats 45 to 55 feet LOA   $2.50 per month

Boats 55 to 65 feet LOA   $3.00 per month

Note: Sailing yachts will be measured from tip of bowsprit to end of after boom, regardless of hull measurement

The above rates were approved by the members at a meeting on October 14, 1919. Of course, back then the $3.00 monthly fee to moor a 65 foot boat reperesented two days wages for most people; but heck, if you can afford a 65 foot boat what's two days wages to moor it?
