Local Notice to Mariners - 2016 Lk WA fill and small lock closure

1.) The USACE will begin the annual summer refill of Lake Washington on 18 Feb 16. The final refill target is 22.0 feet by 01 May 16 measured at the locks. Owners of vessels, docks, slips and other structures are advised to monitor the rise in lake elevations.

2.) The Hiram M. Chittenden small lock will be closed from 1200 14 Mar 16 to 1700 25 Mar 16 to conduct an inspection. The only exceptions will be for emergency vessels. The large lock will remain operational during this time.
