What Makes You Think I Want To Hear Your Music????????

What makes you think I want to hear your music? Seriously……Over this past Memorial Day weekend on the docks at Winslow, there were multiple times both day and and night when I was treated to the “pleasure” of a pounding base and throbbing music.  Thanks a lot. I really appreciated it. 

Whatever happened to common courtesy and respect? Particularly in a small, closed-in environment where your neighbors are literally inches away from you. Again….what makes you think I want to hear your music? 

Sure…..everyone thinks their own music is great. But just because I think Jimmy Buffett is great does not mean you do and there is no way I would turn up the volume on my stereo and subject you to it. In fact, I make sure the volume for my outside speakers is off. That way if I am playing my stereo then there is no chance you might hear it. Simple common courtesy. 

There is a time and place for everything and the place for you to blast your music is out on the sound when no one is around you for miles. Have at it. Turn it up to full volume. Just remember that when you get to the dock it’s time to turn it down and show a little courtesy and respect to your fellow members who are tied up right next to you.
