Jan is one of the most prolific marine photographers in the Pacific Northwest region. Her work documents all types, sizes, and activities of boats, from British Columbia to the Columbia River, and everywhere in between. Most weekends she can be found on Puget Sound, shooting prestigious sailing regattas, and averaging over forty events a year. The fruits of her talent and labor can be found in 48 North magazine, Northwest Yachting magazine, Pacific Yachting magazine, Sail magazine, Sailing World magazine, and online at Sailing Anarchy and Pressure Drop web sites. Her work is in high demand by commercial marketing firms, marinas, yacht clubs, maritime industry companies, and for sail makers.
About the “Boat Boy”

Captain Anderson is the founder of Flagship Maritime, a USCG-approved training center that prepares and certifies mariners for careers as licensed maritime industry professionals. Skip was a letter-winner on the USNA Varsity Sailing Team, and went on to compete in several national and North American championships, plus one Olympic Trials. His naval career spanned twenty-four years, including service aboard three destroyers, one frigate, three aircraft carriers, and a battleship. Once deeply involved in professional race management, he served as a certified US Sailing Club Race Officer and as a certified ASA sailing instructor. He is now Jan’s Boat Boy.
