It needs to be fixed!
This is to announce the launch of a new web page that affords a “one stop” method of reporting QCYC facility items in need of repair. This single web page provides YOU THE MEMBER, a method of reporting all repair needs generated at the clubhouse, docks and outstation. If you see something that requires repair, please REPORT IT.
The FACITLITY REPAIR REQUEST link is found under the FORMS menu above, or via this hyperlink https://www.queencity.org/facility-repair-request It is entirely “on-line” and in most cases shouldn’t take more than two minutes to complete. This page is also “mobile friendly”, so you can do your submission right on your smartphone.
Regardless of whether it’s a broken faucet, cracked downspout, failed cleat, rotten plank, painting, bad switch / socket, or inoperable tool in Cummins Hall. You name it. Virtually any necessary repair of club property is reported here. Once you complete the short form and click submit, your message is recorded to the repair database AND an email is generated to the responsible committee chairperson.
All responsible chairpersons have access to the repair database and will then prioritize / program the necessary work. Please allow ample response time as some items can be fixed via our normally scheduled work parties, where others might be part of a larger effort that could involve contractors.
Queen City Yacht Club’s assets total millions of dollars in value. Your watchful eye and prompt reporting is imperative towards protecting that investment and maintaining its serviceability. Thank you.
