Best attended Chet Gibson parade in recent years

Thanks to Captains Kelley and Sharon Stocklin, (turn boat at the Ballard Bridge) as well as PC Dick McGrew (lead boat) for their contributions to the 2017 Chet Gibson Memorial Lighted Boat Parade.

The event, on Saturday night only this year, had 32 boats in the field. That exceeds the combined Friday and Saruday night totals for any of the last several years. Queen City Yacht Club, as well as members of other clubs, created a dramatic spectacle of lights on Lake Union and the Ship Canal.

Thanks to Captain Mark Vanderwall, who set up the piano and organized the sing-along at the BYOB potluck on the 2nd Deck.
