Speaker Series THIS Wednesday 5/23

Please join us for the next QCYC Speaker Series this Wednesday May 23rd at 7:30 pm.

Our presenter is Captain Dale Pederson, skipper of the Virginia V steam ship.

The presentation follows the line of the “Virginia” class of vessels, from the Virginia Mearl to the well-known Virginia V, one of the last two remaining USCG certified passenger steam ships.

You’ll gain insight into the role and importance of the steam ships of the “mosquito fleet” that plied the waters of Puget Sound.

As always, there will be time for Q&A, so bring your Q’s!!

Captain Dale is currently Senior Captain on the Steamship Virginia V where he has served for the last 27 years - and as he says, “it’s the best hobby job in the world!”
