Sandy Werner's 2020 Commodore Roast

In November of 2019, I began soliciting Sandy's family and friends for pictures and stories of her boating adventures for the annual January Cruise-In at our Bainbridge outstation.  I heard nothing but crickets.  In December, I again solicited even more people. The crickets got louder.  I was starting to believe people were unwilling to help, or perhaps because Sandy has so masterfully hidden any negative press.  

I'd hear rumors about someone who thought they knew something juicy, but all of the sudden that person would "disappear", kinda like Jimmy Hoffa.  I was beginning to think that Sandy had "associates" in the Corleone family, the CIA or the Docks Committee :-)  

But as it turns out, it's because Sandy is a genuinely nice lady, who keeps her nose and boat unusually clean (and has also masterfully hidden any negative press).  So her Roast became more of a tribute.  Thank you Sandy for all you do and have done for QCYC!!
