In Memoriam - Ray Huggins

Notice of Member Passing

We are sad to report the passing of Raymond (Ray) Huggins, member #709 on Feb 26th of this year.  Ray joined Queen City in 1997 and was an accomplished long range ocean sailor. He was born and grew up in England and he and Eileen immigrated to America in 1963.

He was a brilliant physicist but had a friendly and “down to earth” personality.  He was well liked by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Eileen and sons Peter & Roger, daughter Christine, six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
