Commodore Ball

Trying to decied if we want to go this year, since joining the club we have never missed one. Looking up the location it will be at the Admiral's house which I assume we are using as it is larger then our third deck and we are combining two balls as such we have the potential to have 28 Commodores and their significant others attending.  It would appear that we will be in a tent.  I hope that I am wrong about this and that it will be in a real building as being in October and after dark even with space heaters it is likley not to be the most comfertable venue we could hope for, likley the only place we could find with a large enough seatting area and open dates at a resonoble price.  So I have a some questions perhaps some one will have an answer to.

1. Attire, it does not say on the invetation but I assume that this is a black tie event?

2. The invetation does not say anything about entertainment, will there be a band? If so what band?

3. If there is a band will there be a dance floor? Looking at the Admiral house's web page The Admiral's House | Seattle, Washington (theadmiralshouse.com) it looks like the tent has an artificial grass floor and the possiblility of a dance floor but depending on the seatting they set up in some photo's it looks like there is no room for a dance floor.

4. Who is doing the catering? The Admiral's  house? Willie? Or some other?

5. As some would argue that we are a drinking club with a boating problem, will there be a bar? And with it pricing?
