There's going to be a fabulous Labor Day Weekend at the Winslow Outstation, Friday Sept. 2 thru Monday Sept. 5

The theme this year is Sharkey's County Fair, and ol' Sharkey has brewed up a ton of fun.

Highlights will include an "Open MIc Night" on Friday night. Bring your talent! Sing a song, read a poem, dance the Hully Gully--- whatever. Take 10 minutes or so to show off your hidden talents. :-)

What would a country fair be without livestock judging?  Bring your livestock (on a leash) and participate in some fun and funny categories.

Win an actual blue, wite, or red ribbon in the "Baked on the boat" bake off! We'll serve the entries for desert on Saturday night.

Horseshoe tournament!

Pinatas for both kids and adults!

Blindfold dinghy races (you have to row)!

Vegetable racing!  Attach four wooden wheels to a cucumber and let gravity take over. Prizes for several catefories!

Temporary tatoos and face painting for the kids!

Live music for listening and dancing. The House Rockin' Three Sheets Blues Band on Saturday night and Desolation Sounds on Sunday.

Fabulous meals!  Sharkey promists genuine Fisher scones as part of Saturday's breakfast
