Mainstation Dock 2 WiFi Access

I've temproatily moved back onto my boat at the far end of Dock 2. Ther's a Wireless access pont two slips inboard of me. My QCYC member Wi-Fi access is more hit or miss. Questions. !) Wh doesnt' the access point nead Slip 292 reach my slip 294? 2) Why does the recommended WiFi extender NOT show up on Amazon as suggested? Why is it that the mostely closely recommended model, claimig to be compatibel with all routers, ISN'T compatible with WPS-02 securty. 4) What currentlly available WiFi adapter / extender is ACTUALLY compatible with our Wi- FI? I'm asking because I've moved back into the area and onto my boat to work "from home" but close to mu client project near here. I'm having to work from my boat to resolve issues with a major local client who calleed me back from retirement after I moved out of the area.
