Baby It's Cold Outside... (Ice Melt and Faucets)

The Docks Committee put two orange buckets on each of the three docks. One bucket is located just inside the dock door, and the other about halfway down the length of the dock.

There's "ice melt" in each of the orange buckets. Feel free to spread it around if you discover a slippery situation on the dock. The club provides the ice melt, but expects our members to do the actual spreading where required.

Please make sure you have disconnected your water hose from the supply line. The metal fittings on the hose tend to promote freezing. The Docks Committee will be disconnecting any water hoses we find hooked up to the waterline when there isn't anybody actively using the water. Please remember to disconnect when not in use........nobody wants to be "that guy" responsible for freezing and bursting the water supply and creating a situation where there's no water for anybody on the dock until repairs can be made.
