A Big Thanks at Thanksgiving

I would like to say on Thanksgiving that I am thankful for all of the Bartenders. It has been said a Yacht Club is a drinking club with a boating problem. Before taking on the role of assistant bar manager I took for granted someone was always behind the bar serving . There is a core group of members that work very hard to keep the bar going at the club and they deserve your thanks. The club and associated bar is far more active than most people realize. Besides the meetings and Friday lunches there are countless weddings, Christmas parties, club events etc. that create revenue for Queen City. So I want to thank all of you that provided our $2.00 call drinks and cheap box wine. Thank you to all of the members that filled in for others when lifes priorites called them elsewhere.. The bar makes the club an attractive rental for events and a huge source of revenue and benefit to the club. The next time you are at an event take the time to thank the hard working members that contribute so much.
