Call for IT Volunteers

Are you a new member and looking for a way to contribute to our awesome volunteer-based club? Do you have a background in the tech industry or with computers? Have experience with live sound gear when you were in a rock band or at church? Then consider joining the QCYC Technology Committee as a part time volunteer!

The QCYC Tech committee maintains our 5 office PCs, digital sign, onsite and offsite backup systems,  our fiber-optic, gigabit ethernet and wifi networks at the mainstation and Bainbridge, cameras, and our audio/visual systems. We also support the office manager, web team, docks team, security team, treasurer, and  club members with computer and network-related issues and Zoom meetings.

Some work and most help requests can be handled remotely.
