Carpet installation

During May 2012, Mr Tom Anderson installed new carpeting throughout Sound Suite (42ft aftcabin MY). Mr. Anderson came to us via recommendation by De/Mar, a retail carpet distributor located in the southcenter area. Although he routinely does home installations, he was receptive to doing the boat in between "land" jobs. This was his second boat. He was prompt in showing up during the initial project review, as well as the day of installation.

Based on our agreement, I provided and transported the pad and carpeting, while he provided the skill and necessary tools. His fee was $500. Work started at 9am and lasted the better part of the day. I'd relocated the boat to the QCYC loading dock, which afforded him a work area to layout the new bulk carpeting for cutting (using the old carpet as a template).

I post this information as it's somehwat difficult to find an installer that will do boats. Mr Anderson did a good job, and one certainly worth the money paid. At the time of this posting, he can be reached at 206-391-0719
