Dock safety ladder

I fell off my swim step right before the Commodores Ball. I tried using the ladder on the boat shed to get out of the lake. The ladder angled severely under the dock and I was unable to get out using it. Luckily my lovely and understanding wife was there to drop the swim ladder off our boat. ... Right after I handed her a soaking dress ! I am in slip 364. I think this is a safety issue we should look at. The design on the sheds  is far different than the rest of the moorage .
