Fall Electrical Safety Testing

Members,

In an effort to better ensure the waters around our marina are safer, QCYC will again begin electrical testing on member boats in September. 
 
If you have not been tested in 2020, you must do so if you moor or intend to moor at QCYC. The new rule (3.04.02) in summary states, "Every vessel moored at Queen City Yacht Club at the Mainstation [and the Bainbridge Island Outstation]…shall be required to pass an electrical inspection as described in this rule."
 
We are ALL safer thanks to our members complying with this important safety requirement. 

If you are NOT permanently moored at the Mainstation, or have Winter moorage, you are not required to be tested.  Although, if you want that piece of mind, you certainly may signup and we'll test you in the U.

SIGN-UP INSTRUCTIONS
 
1.)  Login to the QCYC website (you cannot sign-up without logging in!)
 
2.)  Navigate to "Calendars"
 
3.)  Select the date per your dock in September or October.  We will also do testing in the U if you do not have permanent moorage or need testing outside of the offered dates.
 
4.)  Select "Sign Up" at the bottom.
 
5.)  Select "Myself" under "This Reservation Is For"
 
6.)  Leave the number 1 in the "Number of Adults Attending" box
 
7.)  Place your NAME in the name box and the SLIP # in the comments box.
 
8.)  Save
 
9.)  Now you're ready to go!!
