Flares, Flags & Fire Extinguishers Open House

11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

This is an open house, mainly outdoor for SYC members and friends to get their portable fire extinguishers checked and serviced for the year. Austin Specialties is the fire extinguisher company SYC Facilities use for fire extinguisher maintenance and for Opening Day's Dock Zero. They service extinguishers while you wait. New fire extinguishers will also be available for purchase. A nominal fee is charged. Checks are preferred.

Additionally, the optional Vessel Safety Check service provided by a designated SYC and US Power and Sail Squadron member, Becky Garvie, will be available during this time for any boat in the marina.

Damaged and faded US Ensigns may be deposited for proper disposal.

Outdated Marine flares (hazmat) may also be deposited for proper disposal during the event.
