Kingston Fuel Prices

I just helped a friend bring his boat back to Seattle this past weekend. We stopped at Kingston to fuel up. The dock attendant told me that they are in the process of laying new fuel lines to supply the Kingston-Seattle Fast Ferry which will commence service sometime in 2018. What got my attention was when he mentioned that the Ferry will use 2,000 gallons of diesel per day and that the Port of Kingston plans to use this volume to pass along fuel price decreases to recreational vessels filling up at Kingston. That is a significant volume of fuel use on a daily basis and should benefit all of us (well.....those of us who have diesels)!  

Keep Kingston in mind for your fuel needs. Diesel was $2.60/gallon this weekend (tax included).
