Labor Day - Sharkey's County Fair Events: Registration for Meals Now Closed

The six co-chairs for Sharkey's County Fair (Labor Day Weekend at the Outstation) are finalizing their orders for food and drink.  Opportunities to "sign up in advance" will be closed on the morning of 8-30-22.

If you show up but haven't signed up, please see event co chair Chuck Gould to find out if we can include you in the meals. We hope to (but cannot guarantee to) include people who just show up and are willing to agree to being billed on the spot......

FRIDAY; September 2       

6:00 PM   Tapping of the keg. Opening the boxed wine.  Informal “cook your own” complimentary hot dog feed.

            7:00 PM    Open Mic and Karaoke entertainment by QCYC members

SATURDAY; September 3     (kids activities and horseshoe tournament TBA)

           8:30 – 10:00 AM  Breakfast

            11:00 AM  Livestock judging (parade of pets)

            2:00  PM    Blindfold dinghy derby

            5:00 PM     “Baked on the Boat”  cook off judging, potluck appetizers and happy hour

            6:00 – 7:30 PM   Dinner

            7:30 – 10:00 PM  Dance to the House Rockin’ Three Sheets Blues Band

Sunday; September 4  (kids activities and horseshoe tournament TBA)

            8:30 – 10:00 AM  Breakfast

            1:00 PM   Gravity powered zucchini races

            2:30 PM    Kids pinata party

             3:00  PM    Adult pinata party

             3:30   PM    Watermelon eating contest  (hands free!)

            5:00 PM     Potluck appetizers and happy hour

            6:00 – 7:30 PM  Dinner   Prizes awarded between 7:15 and 7:30

            7:30 – 10:00 PM  Dance to Classic Rock and Top 40 hits with Desolation Sounds

Monday; September 5

            7:30 – 10:00 AM   Continental breakfast “to go”
