LAST CALL! - QCYC New Member Orientation

The QCYC 2020 New Member Main Station Orientation Cruise-In is next weekend.

If you haven’t RSVP’d, please let us know if you’re attending so we can plan for food. If you sponsored a new member in the last 24-36 months and they have not attended a New Member Main Station Orientation, please contact them and encourage them to RSVP and attend.

If you’re on the fence, here’s what we have planned for you.

You'll learn the ins and outs, behind the scenes "secrets" & best practices of YOUR yacht club main station on Portage Bay. Demystify the Main Station!

If you've joined QCYC in the past 24 months and have not attended the Main Station Orientation (or within 36 months but missed the orientation in the past few years), please join us on (optional) Friday evening 2/21 and (the official Orientation day) Saturday, 2/22 open on your calendar.

Here's the agenda:

February 21st - Friday evening

• Cruise-In! Arrive by boat and moor in the "U" with your moorage paid by the Bridge!

• Overflow moorage on the reciprocal dock at the east end of Dock 3

• Arrival by car is OK too! We won't judge you. Promise!

• Participate in and (optionally, but highly encouraged) volunteer to help for the Friday Night Social hosted by P/C Dale & Susie Roberts.

February 22nd - Saturday

New Member Main Station Orientation Cruise-In Agenda

9:30-11: Belly Filling Breakfast by Chef Willie Williamson (your QCYC Bridge is picking up the tab and you will not leave hungry!)

11:15 - 12: Galley tour by Chef Willie - Know your way around the galley and be able to host a Friday night social - BEST way to meet tons of members and make friends!

12:15-1:45: Barry Rutten's “almost famous” docks, grounds and clubhouse tour! Secrets revealed!

1:45-2:30: Lunch provided by those fine and generous Bridge Officers; you gotta love 'em!

2:30 - 3:15: Volunteer options overview! Another great way to "meet the peeps" and make friends!
