Mainstation Garbage

We have had issues with our garbage area during our peak cruising season. Please do not leave large items such as furniture inside (or outside) the dumpster; take them to the transfer station.

If the bin is full, either dispose of your garbage in the alternate dumpster across from Dock 1 near the exit OR pack it out. Garbage bags should not be left outside of either dumpster under any circumstances.

Please also break down your boxes before placing them in the recycling. This makes a huge difference!

Finally, be mindful that we do have a small, green bin for compost only. Only organic materials such as yard debrise and food scraps may be discarded in this container.

There is no one person or crew in charge of this area; please do your part to organize your unwanted goods to the correct bin or pack it out if necessary.
