Notice of Passing – John Cleaver #059                 1948 – 2021

We are sorry to report that member John Cleaver passed away Nov 1st at 73 years old.  John was one of the “Cleaver men” and joined his dad, Herb, and brother Bill when he joined Queen City YC in 1980. He was a very likeable “character” like his dad and brother.

Much of his career was as a commercial fisherman in Sitka, Alaska where he also owned and operated the “Woods Dudes”, where he crafted fine furniture and cabinetry products.

He was a beloved husband and father and was loved by friends, colleagues and all those that knew him.
