We are very sad to report that Peter Gulick, long time member #81, has crossed the bar for the last time on Apr 24th of this year at 91 years of age. He is remembered around the club as very capable and likeable.

Peter was known for his enthusiasm and participation in log racing and associated activities.  He was our Regatta Power Chair for several years and was an excellent racer and competitor.  Even after he stopped competing, he was an enthusiastic volunteer at QCYC hosted contests checking contestants in, scoring, judging and any other job that needed doing.

He served as Treasurer for the International Power Boat Association (IPBA) for many years and was well known in the log racing community.
