Moorage Concerns and Complaints
If you have a question or concern about Moorage, please call my cell at 206-852-5163 or email me at: jeffmandkims@gmail.com. Or, you can also contact Vice-Commodore Dave Bedner as well.
In the meantime, if you have a concern or a complaint, do NOT stop by the office and talk to Deborah about it. Deborah does not make ANY moorage decisions and it is unfair to her to put her in the position of even having to respond to your concerns. During this past week, three long-time members have stopped by the office to complain to Deborah about a boat they feel did not meet the requirements for moorage. None of these members contacted me directly with their concerns. This passive-aggressive behavior which puts Deborah in the middle of a situation not of her making has to stop.
As you all know, during the past few years we have worked very very hard to make moorage assignments an open, transparent process that all Members can view and understand. If you have a complaint, I am always happy to explain the rationale and the decision making process behind an assignment. You may not agree with it but at least you will know how and why a particular assignment happened. Frankly speaking, I cannot (and will not) respond to “anonymous” complaints. Please respect the process and call me with your concerns.
Thanks,
Jeff Madera
