Painters Needed - Pre-POQC
Painters Needed - Pre-POQC
If you take a look around the club grounds, you'll see that a massive amount of pressure washing took place on Sunday, April 12th during the PressureWashaPalooza event.
Just about everything that was concrete and a few more things were pressure washed and are looking very spiffy, thanks to a dozen or so members who came out in force and got it done!
We now have a need for several areas to be painted, both before and during Pride of Queen City on Saturday, April 25th. We cannot assume the 25th will be a dry day, so let's use this next 2 weeks to full advantage.
Please contact me if you are interesting in assisting with these projects to make our club look extra ship shape for Opening Day.
The correct supplies and instructions will be provided to volunteers. Please do not attempt these projects without input.
Please contact Barry Rutten, Pride of Queen City Chairman, at barryrutten@comcast.net or 425-949-2815 for more info and to volunteer.
AREAS NEEDING PAINTING
1. White railings outside of Docks 1 & 2 - a little sanding on the top boards and then just painting both railings
2. White railings on Dock 3 to wash docks - same as above
3. Parking lot striping - we have a striping machine and the correct striping paint - would prefer to do this in sections prior to POQC, as sections need to be blocked off for a day to allow paint to dry
4. Speed bump and direction arrows on driveway
5. White stripes on stairs near the "U" from parking lot to second level
6. Gray storage lockers between Dock 3 entrance and clubhouse - (Lots of hands needed for this one; likely a POQC project, weather permitting)
