"Politically Incorrect" Auction of the club Pressure Washer

We used to call these a "Dutch" auction. Aware that there are some wonderful folks in the club with Dutch heritage- we'll just call this a "politically incorrect" auction.

Up for sale, with our Commodore's approval, is the club pressure washer. It's a 3,000 psi belt-driven unit. It has been used probably less than once per year for the last few years. With the annual "palooza" events where people bring in their own pressure washers, it's totally redundant. Plus, on the 364 1/2 days each year it's not in use it takes up way too much space in the garden shed.

The unit looks (structurally) pretty much like this photo of a brand new machine off the internet. The Docks Committee will post an actual photo of the pressure washer when we get it back from the shop.....(needed a new spark plug, for sure). The pressure washer is for sale as is, where is. The last time the Docks Committee started it, we had to use to ether to get it going.

"Politically Incorrect" auction works like this. We're offering this machine for sale at $600.00 The first person who replies to the offering with "I'll take it for $600.00" owns it. If nobody buys within the first 24 hours, we will reduce the price by $25. We'll continue reducing the price by $25 per day until somebody buys it.....or it becomes obvious that maybe none of our members want it at any price and we'd be better off selling it to a larger market on Craigslist.
