The QCYC Centennial 4th of July Weekend at Winslow Outstation

The QCYC Centennial 4th of July Weekend at Winslow Outstation is just around the corner and is shaping up to be weekend sure to be remembered for a at least another 100 years..

There are many, many, many events planned for the weekend including Captain Crabby's Crab Catching Contest (bring your pots and valid licenses), an Old Fashioned Clam Boil Dinner, all kinds of Kid’s Activities (brought to you by Allison Hogan), live music and dancing on the deck Saturday night until 10:00, the usual downtown Winslow events and the always fantastic Firework Display over Eagle Harbor.  You can see all events on the flyer at the QCYC website.

A couple of planning points:

  1. Registration is now open on the QCYC website for the weekend.  Please sign up under the menu titled “events”.  This will help us greatly with our meal planning
  2. If you are participating in the Bremerton Big Brothers Cruise, you are welcome to leave your boat on the dock at the Winslow Outstation unattended until the 4th Weekend festivities begin
  3. When arriving on Friday or Saturday, Dockmaster Denny will be monitoring channel 69 to send you in the right direction for dock space
  4. Out of respect for other members and the Laws of Bainbridge Island, the noise curfew will be 10:00 PM on the docks and all loud activities asked to relocate to the Clubhouse
  5. Meal tickets can be purchased when you arrive.  Cost is $50.00 for adults or $40.00 for kids (12 and under) for 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners.  Individual meals are $15.00 each regardless of lunch or dinner

Please note that the QCYC Centennial “Low and Slow” BBQ proceeds, as well as the generosity of the Pitmasters(!), have subsidized the live music and allowed us to keep the meal prices family friendly.

See you very soon!
