QCYC members save a life off Bainbridge Island

Basic details, (subject to possible correction and addition)

Captains Todd and Rosana Carter on the "Brooklyn" were leaving the outstation when they were flagged down by a sailboat.

The sailors had found a body floating face down in the water, and realized that the "Brooklyn" (an express cruiser) would get the victim back to shore much faster than they could.

While transporting the victim back to the Bainbridge boat ramp, the crew aboard "Brooklyn" administered CPR. The victim was at least semi-conscious when the "Brooklyn" raced up to the boat landing and the medical rescue people took over.

Hats off to the Carters. They did the QCYC burgee proud.
