Tom Sawyer Paint Party on the September and October Docks Fun Days.

Our goal will in September be prepping those ends of Docks One, Two, and Three that face the parking lot. We will actually *want* people to come and pressure wash the siding, etc, to help blast away any loose paint. Saturday, September 14. Be there are 8:30 for a free breakfast.

We'll take precautions to protect the boats in the slips closest to the end of the docks, but if you are moored in the first slip or two nearest shore you might want to hang out at reciprocal or in the U for the day.

The second Saturday in October, we'll get out the brushes, rollers and buckets of paint to put a fresh face on the dock ends.

The hundreds upon hundreds of people who come to QCYC and never go out onto the docks only see the ends of these structures nearest the building. They're certanly due, and approaching overdue, for refreshment.
