Queen City Rot Club...Locker Holders Need to Note October 13

The nine lockers located between the garbage corral and the used oil barrel are in horrible shape.

The T-111 siding used to face them is rotting, from the bottom up. We could be called Queen City rot Club until we get rid of this structural defect and obvious eyesore.

Good news; the Docks Committee has undertaken the project of residing these lockers. If we have to reframe sections, we can do that when the T-111 is down.

To that end. If you have one of those nine lockers, it needs to be empty on October 13.

We hope to get a huge turnout of members, (including folks who have one of the nine lockers affected) so that we can do this job within the space of several hours. Sort of like a barn raising.

The new siding material will be cement-fibre siding, in 4 X 8 sheets. Theoretically, it will never rot. Each locker will get new facing, with a door cut into the panel (same as now), with new hinges and a new hasp.

Please turn out to help with this big project. Sign up: https://www.queencity.org/event/locker-work-party
