Hello Boaters,

As we enter the beautiful summer months in Seattle, many of us will recreate in the heart of the city on Lake Union. RBAW is leading an effort to raise awareness among all boaters—power, sail, or paddle—of the seaplane landing advisory zone that is in effect Memorial Day through Labor Day. 

The #MindTheZone campaign targets all water users to raise awareness of the five (5) seaplane advisory buoys that run north-south on the lake during these summer months.  When the yellow lights are flashing, a seaplane is about to take off or land, and all lake users are asked to move 200 feet east or west of the buoy line.
