Reminder... Chet Gibson Lighted Boat Parade, Sat 12/9

It's almost time for the 75th QCYC lighted boat parade. We parade to celebrate the season as well to commemorate the QCYC member who initiated lighted boat parading, back in 1942.

Decorate your boat, and rendezvous at the green buoy off of Gasworks Park. 6:30 PM, Saturday, December 9.

This year's parade will have a little less adventurous format....(the old format obviously becoming too adventurous for many of our members). We will do two laps around Lake Union, proceed west down the Ship Canal as far as the turn basin on the east side of the Ballard Bridge, and then return to Portage Bay.

Following the parade, we will gather for a BYOB potluck social on the 2nd Deck.
