Slip and Slide on the Dock Fingers

Wendy and I are on dock 3 and we were having a problem getting to our boat the finger was so sleek that it was becoming difficult to stay up right and walk.  

I knew that pressure washing would work but docks has asked in the past to please not pressure the docks.  

Emailed docks (Chuck) to ask what was the preferred way to solve the problem. Chuck said,"use a mix of water and beach".  Sprayed the dock, scrubbed and rinced all is good now.  

I have talk to a few others at the club and have heard that others are having the same problem and some have even fallen. 

This is just a heads up to others with the same problem.
