Visiting Committee

Greetings……..I’m advised that the Visiting Committee hasn’t been active for the past couple of years. I’ve accepted Commodore Dale’s request to chair this committee for his year of stewardship.

As a club member for almost 40 years, I can recall captains Don Meyer, Jim Wiley, Russ Knapp and Harris Johnson, among others, who chaired this committee “of 1” so in the past. However, on closer examination, it’s really a HUGE committee because it involves every member of our club with regard to his/her well-being.

So if you know or hear of a fellow captain who is “under the weather”, ailing, or might have some special needs, drop me a note, give me a call or email me with any particulars so that the individual can be contacted or a get-well card can be sent.
