Wi-Fi progress at Boyer clubhouse

Many of you have asked me over the last couple years when we would get Wi-Fi installed at the instation. After overcoming some legal and financial obstacles, I'm happy to say that we pulled a new 20 Mbit fiber optic line into the clubhouse this Thursday December 8, which will be the backbone of our new instation Wi-Fi service. This is a secure private network which will be far more secure and I hope more reliable than pay services such as BBX. The service is operational INSIDE THE CLUBHOUSE ONLY at this point. Over the next couple months we will install service to the docks, funded by the past commodore's club. However, members can begin using the service in the clubhouse immediately. The SSID is QCYC! and the passkey is 289shannon.
