Tara passes a little gas from time to time and I would rather she not. I would appreciate a referral to a very competent sanitation expert to help me chase down the off gassing leak. It's intemittent. When the tank is fullish and empty! Strange. It's fine other times. I use the No Flex Digestor. Thanks in advance! -Joshua
Who loves their boat washer and what do they charge? Wax guy probably needed at some point, too.
Heat exchanger is out of the boat. Looking for someone local to pressurize and test in Seattle
Gallery would have to send it out to Tacoma, they dont do it in-house.
I respect the fact that some club members are in this business and certainly encourage the membership to support our brethern first. However, sometimes circustances require us to look elsewhere for solutions, so I bring this referral forward.
I recently had my Detroit 8.2s serviced by Adair James of AJ Marine Repair (cell: 206-992-7396). Over my 16 years of ownership, Adair has effectively provided everything from seasonal tune ups to a complete engine rebuild (from the crankshaft up). He is very honest and forthright as to what needs to be done, and is very fair in his pricing.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a mobile carpet cleaner who would be able to provide service in the U-dock?
During May 2012, Mr Tom Anderson installed new carpeting throughout Sound Suite (42ft aftcabin MY). Mr. Anderson came to us via recommendation by De/Mar, a retail carpet distributor located in the southcenter area. Although he routinely does home installations, he was receptive to doing the boat in between "land" jobs. This was his second boat. He was prompt in showing up during the initial project review, as well as the day of installation.
Has anyone heard if a low grade biodiesel (B5) is harmful to older diesel engines? I've read that biodiesel can provide additional lubrication, but I've also heard that it can break down rubber gaskets. Any information would be appreciated.
